Worked all week so no chance to visit until yesterday. Soil very dry as it has been sunny and dry for a week. Gave everything a water (rained since, obviously). Pak Choi/Mizuna appear to have stalled. Belle de Fontenay spuds are showing through. The peas have started to grow now.
At home sowed borlotti, french and runner beans, squash (Galeux d'Eysines), butternut squash, courgette and cornichon.
Must do more peas, direct and some more carrots. Next witloof, chard, and some green cabbage.
Sowed some nasturtiums at home , hope to get them to climb up the fence at the back to screen it, give a bit of colour and try and make some faux capers.
The celeriac looks close to being ready to plant out, the kale should be ready in a few weeks.
The apple tree has blossomed as is lovely, pink/white flowers. The sorrel has taken and is growing, though the dill looks dead. i think the soil isn't right in this area for herbs.
