What a mess, after 7 month absence it's back to square one.
All the beds need the top layer taking off, digging out the weeds and grass roots...
It is a little dispiriting after getting quite far last year.
The site is a lot busier, with a number of new members who have done a lot, raised beds, sheds, greenhouses.
I took the top off 6 beds and dug one over and for a laugh put in 8 chitted Desiree spuds. Probably too late, but you never know.
After 4 hours of stop/start it looks like top picture (keeps turning photos on their side?)
