Down today, also last Friday. The plot was right mess. Nearly lost it, fair enough I say, but glad I didn't.
Grass knee waist high, huge docks, nettles, brambles, couch grass, dandelions etc etc.
Oh well, we start again. Skimming the top of the beds, trying to find the paths and removing the huge clumps of grass.
After two visits this is half done. When it's all, I'll dig it over with a fork , taking the remaining roots out- then sort out paths.
I've been thinking of putting raised beds in , the best plots have done this and surely with fairly heavy clay soil, it'll help with drainage. We shall see.
Feels good, if tiring to be back.
